Over the winter months I am excited to be sharing with you many of the family and newborn sessions that took place over the busy summer and autumn months. During that time of year I am flat out busy and usually I am only able to share just one or two images on Facebook. However, I feel that does not give the full flavour and story of our shoot. Each family I work with is unique and the resulting images I hope tell their story and capture the essence of who they are at that moment in time. So, first up are the Sutherlands, along with Logie, their gorgeous back lab, who is most certainly part of the family.
I first met Esther when she came on one of my Beginners DSLR Workshops. She has since become a great photographer in her own right and I love seeing the images she has captured of her family and her wildlife photography.
I then had the pleasure of meeting Gav and her beautiful girls in September of this year. We had several reschedulings due to the not-so wonderful Aberdeen weather but when the shoot did finally happen it was well worth the wait.
We met on a beautiful late summer morning at Haddo House, Aberdeenshire. Hannah and Rebekah were just so excited for their photo shoot. They were officially the most giggly girls I have ever met! The photos will soon show that……
It was a real pleasure being able to create for Esther and Gav family portraits they will enjoy looking back on in many years to come. The best part was delivering the beautiful Wall Art that they chose. I love a client that is brave enough to choose back and white. It looks absolutely stunning!
