When I first started my business 5 years ago I dreamed of owning a studio where I could capture my newborn photography sessions. Now I am so delighted NOT to have a studio but I have the opportunity to visit my wonderful clients in their own home a few days or weeks after the birth of their baby and create relaxed, natural and personal images for them. The images are so much more meaningful because they contain the backdrop of your own home. I know James when he is older will love looking back at how perfectly his parents decorated his nursery.
I spent a few relaxed hours at the beautiful home of Chery and Ross. I began with simple, and natural images of their gorgeous baby boy. James, even though he was already four weeks old slept just like, well a baby! However just before he dozed off we managed to capture a few images of his beautiful wide awake eyes.
After we had captured some natural images of James we spent some time in his perfectly decorated nursery. Doesn’t he look so small in his cot and tiny in his cot?
After the session I was delighted to create a stunning Fine Art Leather album to showcase and display their images. I know this will be a wonderful keepsake that will tell the story of how 2 became 3.
If you would like to know more about newborn sessions in your home home then please take a look here at my portfolio and read all about how they work. Capturing your pregnancy glow is also a wonderful and special thing to do and look back on. If you are interested in adding on a maternity session to your newborn session please have a look here at what we can create together.
I would love to chat with you! Let’s tell the story of your family.
