Maternity Portraits, Castle Fraser, Aberdeenshire

Karina and I have been e-mailing back and fore for many weeks now planning her beautiful maternity portraits. It has been so much fun to see the location and outfits finally come to fruition!

Karina and Fabio are from Brazil and are working here in Aberdeen so they wanted a little bit of a Scottish theme included in their maternity images. We ended up choosing Castle Fraser for its fabulous Castle of course but also for the variety in images we could create. This is their first child and they wanted some images to share with their family and friends back home. I love that we still had a sprinkling of some bluebells – they just add a lovely touch of colour to the images.

It is very evident from the photos that Karina and Fabio are such a lovely and gentle couple who will make wonderful parents. It was a great fun and very relaxed session where we experienced cloud, then a little sun, followed by a torrential rain shower! A typical Aberdeen evening!! They coped magnificently.

Here are a few of my favourites. Enjoy.

I loved meeting and working with Karina and Fabio. I hope all their family back home in Brazil enjoy these images of her looking  stunningly beautiful and so serene in these final days and weeks of her pregnancy.
