In amongst all the fog and dreariness this week there appeared just a few hours of soft golden light. It was glorious! I was delighted to meet up with Julie and Angus for their outdoor maternity session at Balmedie beach.
When a client asks for a maternity session I am always happy to offer the choice of an indoor studio session or an outdoor session. Due to Covid restrictions at this time, we are limited to only outdoor sessions at a social distance. At Balmedie beach in Aberdeenshire we have all the space we need and using long lenses I can always be at least 2 meters away.
Julie just radiated joy and natural beauty. Whilst Angus and Julie had such a lovely connection together that I was so delighted to capture. I really enjoy it when the expectant Dads are happy to be part of the session too. It is important to celebrate and remember them too….their lives are going to change dramatically also!
I hope you will enjoy these images of love and joy as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Please enjoy these highlights from their session and get in touch if you would love a maternity session of your own. Maternity sessions are usually completed between 30-35 weeks so that you have a lovely bump to show off but are not yet feeling too uncomfortable. I will help and guide you with what to wear and also have a few dresses available for you to borrow. Come and view the rest of my portfolio HERE where can see both studio and outdoor maternity images and choose which style you love best.
Do also ask me about my ‘Grow with Me’ packages which include a maternity session, a newborn session, and a baby session at either 9 months or 12 months.
