Just before Christmas I was honoured to capture some family portraits for the Branner family. They hail from Texas in the good ole’ USA and have spent the last several years living in beautiful but cold Aberdeenshire. It was time for them to head back home and it was a joy capture some images for them to remember their time in Scotland.
I first met than just over a year ago to create some newborn images of their son, so it was wonderful to return and see what a gorgeous toddler he has grown into. And Lilian is a wonderful big sister to Lincoln…with a big heart and a big infectious smile.
Winter can be a simply stunning time of year for outdoor portraits for those who are tough enough! Just check out the warm, golden light we were blessed with! And weren’t they so lucky to live with this beautiful field just at the back door?
I hope they will enjoy the memories that the images will bring back of their time in Scotland. And for those brave enough I have spaces for some outdoor shoots in February and March.
Here are just a few highlights that i have chosen from their outdoor family portrait shoot.
Don’t look too closely at what Lincoln is picking up!! We were all yelling don’t eat it and all the while he had that mischievous grin.
I’m now taking bookings for outdoor family portraits in March and beyond.
